Soft Pull

A Soft Inquiry, or Soft Pull, is a term used to refer to an inquiry into an applicant’s credit history that does not adversely affect the credit score. Leveraging a single-bureau, Soft-Inquiry credit pull with a FICO score, mortgage bankers and lenders can now easily perform an initial non-decisionable credit check without negatively impacting a consumer’s credit score. This helps consumers to better understand their credit standing and the loan products and services for which they may qualify for.
