The Verification of Income (VOI) returns the borrower’s current and previous income details which are used to verify the income stated in the loan application.
The following are the services offered by VOI systems:
Obtain an instant (synchronous) VOI response.
Perform a Researched Verification (RV) if the employer is not found.
Return an instant response in a synchronous process. In case, the Instant Verification does not return any results, the request falls back to RV, which is an asynchronous process.
Return the status of the order (RV or Waterfall).
Retrieve a completed order.

The consumer does not need to initiate a separate transaction for the Researched flow.
